9 Theories That Answer HUGE MCU Mysteries

6. Loki Deliberately Made Himself Look Like Hela

There are a lot of similarities between Odin's three children. Hela, Thor, and Loki are all incredibly powerful, each with their own special ability, but only two of them are truly Odin's children. Loki was adopted from the Frost Giants as a baby, and shares zero blood with Thor, Hela, or their father.

Looking at the three though, you wouldn't have guessed Loki was the odd one out. His black hair and pale complexion match that of Hela, while Thor's blonde hair and blue eyes couldn't be more different. Why then, does the wrong sibling stand out as being different?

If this theory is to be believed, Loki actually changed his appearance to reflect Hela's. In Ragnarok, when he is fighting Valkyrie, he is able to access her memories, making her relive her people's battle with the Goddess of Death. If he was able to do this as an adult, maybe he was able to do it as a child.

When Odin first picks up Loki as a baby, the future God of Mischief changes from blue to pink. Perhaps Loki accessed Odin's memory as he did with Valkyrie years later, saw the image of his new adoptive father's first born, and mimicked her appearance, potentially as a way to distance himself from the Frost Giants he was being delivered away from.
