9 Things Spectre Needs To Satisfy Diehard Bond Fans

6. A Fight With A Seemingly Unbeatable Henchman

Henchmen are as much a part of the Bond mythology as Q division. Most of Bond€™s villains are evil geniuses who prefer to leave the dirty work to some well-paid goons. Because Bond can pretty much own any nameless thug his adversaries throw at him, there€™s usually one top dog evil henchman capable of giving Bond a run for his money. These uber-lackeys often possessed some gimmick that made them tougher than your average gun for hire: Oddjob had a razor-sharp bowler hat, Jaws had € metal jaws. These nearly indestructible characters always pushed Bond to his limits and made the audience worry that perhaps Bond had finally met his match. Pro wrestling superstar Dave Bautista is one of the names on Spectre€™s impressive cast list. Rumor has it he will be playing a villain in the tradition of Jaws and Oddjob. Bautista€™s imposing, more than likely chemically-enhanced, physique makes him an intimidating presence that could realistically give Craig€™s tough as nails Bond a run for his money. Spectre will satisfy hardcore Bond fans if it showcases an all-out brawl between Craig and Bautista€™s character, preferably one that takes place in a perilous setting that will ratchet up the tension.
