3. The Actor's Involvement In The Force Awakens Was Questioned
The ongoing dispute between the man inside R2-D2 Kenny Baker and C-3PO actor Anthony Daniels is common knowledge for a Star Wars fan. It is hardly surprising to learn that two men who worked together over many years grew tired of each other's company, though it's fair to say that Baker and Daniels have gone beyond avoiding each other at parties and entered full on feud territory. Though the pair remained tight-lipped about their feelings towards each other for a long time, Baker broke his silence after the release of Revenge OF The Sith in 2005, and the two have traded back-and-forth insults over the decade since. Baker was guilty of referring to his colleague as "his Lordship, the one with the golden balls", while Daniels chose to reply by downplaying Baker's contribution to the films, saying that R2-D2 "might as well be a bucket." The latest blow in this public spat was in the same vein, with Daniels disputing the fact that he and Baker were set to become the only two actors to have appeared in all seven Star Wars films, claiming that the 3ft 8in actor wasn't actually present during the filming of Episode VII:
"Hes not actually on the set, I havent seen him for years. His name is on the credits as a sort of... I dont know, a good luck charm, a courtesy. Hes a talisman."
