8. The Butterfly Effect (2004)
I feel like a lot of people shrug this movie off nowadays because Ashton Kutcher was in it and I've noticed a lot of people jumping off of the Kutcher train recently. I mean I can't entirely blame them after that god-awful movie Killers but still. Mistake movies or not, Ashton Kutcher did make some great movies and this was definitely one of them. The Butterfly Effect had Kuther's character have repressed memories and then as the movie progresses he gains the ability to travel back in time to when the memories took place to change them if he so decided. This movie had me at the edge of my seat when I first watched it and it still gets me today. With a lot of twists and surprises along the way, The Butterfly Effect has earned its place as one of the best time travel movies ever made.
