7. Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989)
Wyld Stallions! I just read an article on this website about movies that are over quoted. I think this movie is the opposite, being UNDER quoted. I quote this movie as much as I can, pronouncing Socrates name the way they do in the movie. People forget about this movie but they really shouldn't. Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure sends two high school friends into the past to collect historical figures that can assist them in their final paper, a paper that if they fail, the future will be compromised and bring destruction. They travel through time in a phone booth that doubles as a time machine and doesn't that just sound familiar? I'm not a fan of the sequel to this movie and now I hear they are attempting to make a third one? Ugh. This movie is perfect and they should have left it alone.
