9 Times Actors Got Into Fistfights On Set

2. Three Kings - George Clooney Versus David O'Russell

Probably one of the best known dust-ups on-set happened between George Clooney and David O€™Russell on Three Kings, where Russell apparently threw a lot of tantrums when things weren€™t going right, so he€™d often take his frustration out on crew members. He€™d yell at them for small mistakes constantly, to the point of completely humiliating them in front of the entire set. After he made the script supervisor cry Clooney decided he wasn€™t going to stomach it anymore, so he wrote Russell a letter outlining why he couldn€™t behave like that around his crew. This classy move seemed to work and things went smoothly for a while, until a big scene caused a stressed out Russell to go back to his old ways. When an extra was too meek to throw Clooney to the ground Russell grabbed him, threw him down and started kicking him. Clooney pulled them apart and told him again he couldn€™t treat people like that, which lead a furious Russell to start attacking him. They fought briefly before being pulled apart, an incident that Clooney called €œthe worst experience of my life.€ The two men haven€™t worked together since.

Handsome. Charismatic. Intelligent. Noble. Witty. I'm none of these things, but I'm a half decent writer, I guess.
