9 Times Actors Majorly Spoiled Their Own Movies

I Am Legend is a 2007 zombie movie based on the 1954 post apocalyptic horror novel, starring Will Smith as a man and his (very cute) dog who survive a world virus pandemic that causes death amongst humanity to those unlucky enough to turn in to flesh eating undead creatures - a little too close to home for 2020!

Smith leads an unsurprisingly small cast in his quest through the movie to find a cure for those still alive, meeting and killing off other characters along the way- including a heart wrenching scene near the final act of the film when his own dog is bitten and turns in to a zombie version... nobody is over that scene. It's a tense filled emotional movie, filled with twists and turns, which should have all waited until release. But this was not the case.

In a press conference for the movie itself in Tokyo, Smith basically ruined the entire plot, including the epic zombie fight ending to the fans and teams that had attended. Whether the actor was having a bad day or simply forgot what he was doing, it was reported that the production company asked all press not to release the information revealed, diverting the close call.
