The Tagline: "The Story That Won't Go Away" If you can ignore for a moment the JFK tagline's offputtingly weary, almost sighing resignation about how the JFK conspiracy just won't die, you also get a pretty clear warning of what kind of movie lies within: megalomaniacal firebrand Oliver Stone's most conspiratorial film ever, a cocaine-flavoured barrage of editing that threatens to either educate you on the JFK conspiracy or kill you trying. From the very beginning of JFK, it's a high-octane mash of every camera and editing technique Oliver Stone has ever learnt. Over three hours, Stone bludgeons you with information surrounding the JFK conspiracy, unearthing every scrap of juicy detail (and even, y'know, just making stuff up) to stir up debate and make sure the JFK theorists never, ever stop speculating beyond the cold hard facts.
Lover of film, writer of words, pretentious beyond belief. Thinks Scorsese and Kubrick are the kings of cinema, but PT Anderson and David Fincher are the dashing young princes. Follow Brogan on twitter if you can take shameless self-promotion: @BroganMorris1
