Miles Teller has been picking up steam over the past couple of years and his role here as an aspiring jazz drummer could propel him into an even higher level of stardom, especially if the film becomes a cross-over hit. And once the Fantastic Four reboot hits theaters next year, many will point to Whiplash in a knew-him-when way.
