9 Worst Performances In Acclaimed 2018 Movies

1. Andi Matichak - Halloween

The new Halloween was the first entry into the series to receive solid acclaim since the first, though there's one aspect that was criticised by many: the unnecessary inclusion of Laurie Strode's (Jamie Lee Curtis) granddaughter Allyson.

Considering that the dynamic between Laurie and her daughter Karen (Judy Greer) was plenty drama for one movie, Allyson felt tacked on solely for the sake of the teen crowd, and it didn't help that Andy Matichak's performance was a total non-event.

In fairness, she's given extremely little worthwhile to do here despite clearly being "the new Laurie", yet ultimately ends up anything but.

Without a scrap of charisma, Allyson has little reason to exist, and drags down an otherwise mostly solid horror sequel.
