3. Liam Neeson - Widows

It's hard to say too much about Liam Neeson's role in Steve McQueen's heist thriller without giving away a major spoiler, but let's just say that the part requires Neeson to convince the audience of something, and he just can't pull it off.

It doesn't help that Neeson's most pivotal scene in the film is probably the silliest and most melodramatic of the lot, and like Ruffalo in Infinity War he seems bizarrely bored, which given the high-emotion of the scene doesn't really fit at all.

Neeson has honestly seemed far more engaged in his throwaway action thrillers, which is a damn shame considering how appealing the prospect was of him working with McQueen.
