1. It Feels Rushed
Though the last Die Hard film was 6 years ago, there's no denying that A Good Day to Die Hard feels rushed in every aspect, quickly cobbled together to make a quick buck. This is reflected in the film itself, which runs in at 97 minutes - the shortest of the lot by almost half an hour - and is simply
too breezy, moving from one set-piece to the next without taking a breather to revel in some classic McClane quotes or simply cool us down. There are few character moments, few instances of enjoyable levity, just monotonous action sequences one after the other, and without credits, the thing runs to dot-on the 90-minute mark. There's urgency, and then there's this; it's as though Moore has such little confidence in the script that he wants to rush to each set-piece with the hope that it will distract from how mind-numbing the rest of it is. Unfortunately, he doesn't succeed, and the result is a mess. Have you seen A Good Day to Die Hard yet? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
