After Skyfall: 7 Actors Who Are Ripe to Play Bond Villains

4. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau

Kind of Villain: The Debonair Rogue Agent And how about a villain that is identical to Bond without the loyalty to Queen and Country? I originally had Coster-Waldau as one of my choices to take over as James Bond, but seeing as he might have aged a bit much by then, having him grab a spot underneath Daniel Craig's fists would please me just as much. Now, the bad side is that we've gotten the double-crossing agent a few times before (Goldeneye, Skyfall), so this wouldn't be breaking new ground. But the Game of Thrones actor definitely has the right stuff to go up against Bond and should certainly be given the chance to audition for this type of character if they decide to run with it.

Cameron Carpenter is an aspiring screenwriter, current film and journalism student, and self-diagnosed cinephile, which only sounds bad in certain circles. Devoted fan of comics, movies, theater, Jesus Christ, Sidney Lumet, and Peter O'Toole, he sometimes spends too much time on his Scribd and comicbookmovie.com, but doesn't think you're one to judge, devoted reader. You can follow him on Twitter to watch him talk to people you didn't know exist. Oh, and Daredevil is quite the big deal around here (my head).
