Age Of Ultron: 10 Unlikely Things That Could Be Referenced

2. The Savage Land

Marvel ComicsMarvel ComicsAs cool as it would be to see the Savage Land appear in Age of Ultron, we'll probably have to wait a little bit longer to see it in the Marvel Cinematic Universe - if we ever see it at all. That said, don't completely rule it out of inclusion in the Avengers sequel. It is said that the movie version of Ultron will be made from vibranium and the Savage Land is one of the key locations for mining the rare metal in the Marvel comic books. Plus, in the Age of Ultron comic book arc, it was one of the locations Nick Fury fled to - to one of his many secret global bases (the kind of which we now know exist in the Marvel Cinematic Universe thanks to the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. television series) - when Ultron had taken over the world, so it would be a nice nod to the comic book story of the same name to include it. The fact that it could potentially lead in to a number of other cool stories and introduce a number of other awesome characters (such as Ka-Zar) into the Marvel Cinematic Universe would also be a major bonus.
