10. The HR Giger Nod

When it is revealed that David is actually a giant nefarious villain now, we are invited into his laboratory, where all manner of despicable curious reside including the abandoned and unsuccessful early attempts at creating the Xenomorphs he craves.

The chamber basically serves as a potted history explaining how the proto-Xenomorph from Prometheus was developed in stages using the Engineers' bio-technology and some spliced DNA into the final product.

And as part of that, we see some of David's intricate sketches, which are clearly drawn in the style of the legendary HR Giger, whose work of course inspired the original Xenomorph design.
