A mysterious, cloaked figure appears to show up in the middle of the Neomorph attack, possibly firing off a weapon (a flare, maybe?) that scares the creature off.

Fans have been speculating who this figure might be, and of course, it can really only be David or Elizabeth Shaw.

Well, there's no way in Hell that slim figure belongs to Michael Fassbender, so by process of elimination it must be Shaw, who apparently has become a hooded creature of the night in order to survive on the planet.
