6. Someone Gets A Hug

In this scene, a character is being violently facehugged and attempts to rip the creature off to no avail. The next shot makes a pretty convincing case that this is actually Billy Crudup getting attacked, and that this presumably takes place when he and another character investigate the egg room.

It's just strange that it all appears to take place in the same room, with Crudup seemingly going from facehugged to chest-bursted in a matter of minutes. Also, why does he have his jacket on in one shot and not in the next? Perhaps more time somehow passes than these single images let on.
