Coming in March will be the latest X-Men movie, and supposedly Hugh Jackman's last. For all of the ups and downs of the series, Jackman has consistently been one of its better aspects.

Logan is easy to place: it's in the new timeline and takes place after the fairy tale ending that was shown in Days of Future Past. If this were comics, this story would likely be taking place on a different Earth, but it's doubtful the X-Men movies will introduce that concept 10 movies into a franchise.

Logan will likely continue to take place at the end of the timeline, even after future movies come out. Going off of the Old Man Logan comic, which this movie is loosely based on, most of the X-Men are dead and the story is meant to take place long after Wolverine was doing any heroics.

Will it have any continuity problems? Probably, but it's tough to say at this point.
