All The Fox Film Franchises Disney Now Owns

Now, this was one part of the Fox/Disney deal which had been brought into question. While Fox owned the distribution rights to Marvel's first family, and had utilised these on the their existing three big screen takes on the material, the actual character rights are tied up with another company, Constantin Film.

However, reports around the deal appear to confirm that, yes, Disney will indeed gain control of the Fantastic Four - which is the cause of much relief to a great many Marvel fans, who are understandably anxious to see the iconic quartet finally done justice, particularly after the disastrous 2015 reboot.

Marvel Studios have already done a great job re-introducing Spider-Man into their cinematic universe, so it's hard to imagine they'll have too much trouble pulling off the same feat with the Fantastic Four. Not to mention the incredible rogues gallery this now opens up for the MCU: Doctor Doom, Galactus...

Yes, the future of the MCU beyond Avengers 4 just got a whole lot more promising.
