Not only has Nick Fury potentially already began the creation of the MCU's Alpha Flight Space Program, one of this version of the team's biggest members is already a huge part of the franchise. Throughout her own movie and Avengers: Endgame, Captain Marvel has proven herself to be one of the most powerful characters in the entire franchise, and she could soon have her own team to lead.

As part of Alpha Flight's Space Program, Captain Marvel was nothing short of integral. With her powers, experience, and respect, Danvers led the team of typically inexperienced heroes when it came to outer space.

During the fourth Avengers movie, Carol Danvers was forced to cover a lot of ground throughout the universe, having precious little time to help protect Earth from the alien threats the planet faced. Any help she would be able to offer the Avengers without physically having to be there permanently would be huge.

How about if she were to help establish and train a team solely dedicated to stopping these threats before they even showed up on the Avengers' radar? She wouldn't necessarily have to stay as a fixed member of the team as she was in the comics, but she would at least be able to tie the team to the wider cinematic universe.
