The Amazing Spider-Man 2: 13 Actors Who Should Play Venom In Spin-Off
3. Charlie Hunnam
Fifty Shades of Grey dropout Charlie Hunnam could make for a great Eddie Brock and Venom.
He has a face which, depending on his facial hair at that particular time, can look both gruff and tough or youthful and timid, so he could potentially play Eddie Brock from the 616 universe or Ultimate universe.
He's a toned, fit guy who has proven action experience in movies such as Pacific Rim and Deadfall and has good dramatic acting ability thanks to experiences in television shows and films from a very young age, going back to Byker Grove, moving on to the likes of Queer as Folk and culminating in his current role on Sons of Anarchy - essentially, the guy can act. He's of an age whereby a good potential on-screen chemistry with Andrew Garfield would be on the cards and he's a big enough name to be a decent draw for the crowds - both male and female alike - and he could end up being a very good Eddie Brock and Venom if given the opportunity to do so.
