As will become plainly obvious, Marc Webb's Spider-sequel is jam-packed with villains, and not just the three or four that we already definitely knew about, and there's a lot of currently open strands that the director could tie together to make his Sinister Six, as well as retaining other villains for the non-spin-off Amazing Spider-Man movies yet to come. And even with all of those characters mentioned in the movie, Sony yesterday threw another very exciting name into the mix, via viral site The Daily Bugle Tumblr, which has hinted that we might see Carnage in a future Amazing Spider-Man movie (as well as the Amazing Spider-Man 2 video game, no doubt). The site posted a newspaper clipping - from the Daily Bugle, naturally - written by Eddie Brock, covering the arrest of Cletus Kasady, the twelve-times serial killer who becomes Carnage in the comics. Hopefully that is setting up the events of the Venom movie that is currently in the works.
