The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Villains: 6 Things That Look Great (And 3 That Suck)
3. The Quality Of The Cast
Jamie Foxx as Electro, Paul Giamatti as Rhino, Chris Cooper as Norman Osborn and Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn - that's one hell of an array of actors for a movie's rogue gallery. Normally, any given comic book movie has people complaining about at least one of the castings (see Ben Affleck as Batman for a recent example of this) but, in this instance, everyone seems very content with this impressive cast. To say that a Spider-Man movie has amassed such an impressive group of talent to play the villains bodes very well for the franchise and for the quality of the villains in the franchise as a whole. If one thing was criticised about the first movie, it's that Rhys Ifans' Lizard might have been slightly lacklustre. With four decent castings for villains and potential villains in this sequel, it really doesn't look as if that's going to be a problem this time around.
