4. The Creepiness Of Harry Osborn

James Franco as Harry Osborn wasn't bad, but it wasn't what we wanted. He was too likeable, too genuine and too "goody-goody" looking to be evil (not that he was truly evil, but that's beside the point). Dane DeHaan is a weird, eerie, creepy looking dude who displays all the indications of someone who could turn on Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker at any given moment. His pale skin, his piercing eyes, his fairly gaunt appearance and his floppy, greasy looking hair all epitomise the appearance of someone who isn't to be trusted - and that's what we want from Harry Osborn. He is, on the face of it, physically quite harmless, but any character with the devious mind and ill-intentions of the Green Goblin or New Goblin should look the part and his looks convey those traits very well.
