8. Aunt May

In the comics, Aunt May is something of a beast (seriously, not knowing who Spider-Man was, she's held a gun up to him at point-blank range and even knocked him out using a vase. Heck, one version of the character even became a Herald of Galactus called "Golden Oldie"). However, Sally Field's portrayal of Aunt May Parker has yet to unleash the truly formidable and determined side that comic book readers know the character so readily possesses. It would undoubtedly be awesome and extremely funny - and a neat little nod to the comic books - if Spider-Man was in trouble in the movie continuity and May saved him by smashing a vase over a villain's head. Take THAT Green Goblin!
