The Amazing Spider-Man 3: 10 Allies Who Could Help Against The Sinister Six
5. Dr. Curt Connors
Dr. Curt Connors was, of course, the main antagonist in the first Amazing Spider-Man movie when Rhys Ifans' Oscorp scientist character researched the possibility of utilising reptile DNA in humans in order to give them regenerative abilities, which resulted in him experimenting on himself and becoming the villainous Lizard. At the climax of the movie, Connors was defeated by the combined efforts of Spider-Man and police captain George Stacy and returned to his human form when the antidote to his serum was dispersed in to the air. He would go on to appear in the closing-credits scene, where he was approached by a mysterious man (later revealed to be Gustav Fiers AKA the Gentleman) who asked him if Peter Parker knew the truth about his father. Connors' response (which was a resounding "no" followed by the demand that the Gentleman leaves Parker alone) would suggest that he is a good man deep down and could well help the webbed wonder in the future. In the comics, he has helped Spider-Man on a number of occasions. For example, he has created a formula which dissolved Rhino's costume, helped Spider-Man when he grew four extra arms and aided the hero against Stegron the Dinosaur Man. Spidey could sure use that kind of assistance when the Sinister Six show up.
