The Amazing Spider-Man 3: 10 Allies Who Could Help Against The Sinister Six
3. Norman Osborn
In the first set of Spider-Man movies by Sam Raimi, the main Green Goblin was the Norman Osborn version and it would be his son Harry who later aided Spider-Man. However, given that Harry is set to be the main Green Goblin in the Amazing Spider-Man franchise, what if Norman was the one who came to Spidey's aid? Of course, he appeared to perish in the recent Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie, but do deaths in comic book movies always mean that the character is permanently gone? Absolutely not. Indeed, Norman Osborn's cryogenically frozen head was approached by Gustav Friers AKA the Gentleman in a deleted scene, which would suggest he had plans to revive the head of Oscorp, perhaps as some kind of cyborg? Regardless, the fact that the scene was deleted means that it never actually happened, so Osborn might not even be dead at all and, as such, he could return to thwart his son and his villainous team-mates if he doesn't like what he sees - which would inadvertently involve helping Spider-Man in the process.
