The Amazing Spider-Man Villains: 5 Simple Steps To Adapting Mysterio

1. Make Him A Main Antagonist First

Spider Man Mysterio Cartoon Mysterio is one of those villains that cannot be ticked off as a simple henchman. Like with Electro, he is capable of being a primary antagonist in a movie, despite how unknown he may be to the average moviegoer. Doctor Octopus wasn't well known amongst the mainstream before Spider-Man 2 made him a great antagonist, in fact the best antagonist of the Spider-Man movies so far. Why can't Mysterio also be the same? He has been the main antagonist in various Spider-Man video games, so why not give him his own movie as a prime villain before adding him to The Sinister Six (if that's the plan, of course)? Sony could easily announce two more movies after The Amazing Spider-Man 4 and include Mysterio in one of these, as it is likely The Amazing Spider-Man 3 will be used to further set up The Green Goblin before a possible Sinister Six angle being introduced in the 4th outing. Mysterio could also be introduced here in The Amazing Spider-Man 3.After all, who says that they have to just be in one movie? They could easily regroup with new members if he isnt included in The Amazing Spider-Man 3. However, Mysterio needs to be an established villain before he joins the team, he cannot be written in as a simple henchman, as that would be an insult to his character. Giving him a good origin story will make him a more interesting character and will go on to be possibly one of the greatest Spider-Man villains put on the big screen. So what do you think? Do you like my idea of bringing Mysterio to the big screen? How would you adapt him? Who would you choose to play the character? And are there any other villains you would like to hear my take on for a big screen adaptation? Write your thoughts down below.
