3. Harrison Ford
For the comedy to thrive, it seems fair to suggest that Anchorman 2 should introduce some new characters. These characters would have to be strongly written and played by some solid actors, of course, and somehow the filmmakers managed to get Harrison Ford - Han Solo himself - on board. Which is amazing. Whilst not usually seen as a comedic actor, Ford could certainly make a great straight man opposite Will Ferrell's Ron Burgundy. His grim and gruff persona could see him as a dominating newsroom head who challenges Ron's confidence, hopefully to great comic effect. Ford is an experienced actor who is sure to bring quality acting to the movie and hopefully his character will have some depth, too. His star power will also bring the punters in and ensure that the movie will make its money back at the box office (though that's kind of a given, really).
