Ant-Man: 13 Obscure Easter Eggs & References You Probably Missed
10. Spongebob's Cameo
The Disney references in Ant-Man are fairly obscure, unless you're really on the look out (Flounder appears in the background and Luis whistles "It's A Small World..."), but by far the most disposably enjoyable hidden element is a cameo from one of modern animation's most recognisable voices, who has no affiliation to Mickey Mouse.
When Scott gate-crashes his daughter's birthday party, he presents her with an ungodly creature by the name of Hideous Rabbit. Aside from being a pretty good indication of his seriously questionable credentials as a parent (though only a dad really in touch with his little weirdo of a daughter would make that kind of present statement), there doesn't seem to be any link to the Marvel universe.
BUT, the rabbit - which looks very much like it's been infected by something awful - is voiced by Tom Kenny, otherwise known as the voice of Spongebob Squarepants.
