Back at the Pym household, Scott and Hank are talking business, when Pym uses a special earpiece to order the ants to carry some sugar cubes into Scott's cup of tea. It's an outrageously funny moment, all the more so when Scott tells Hank that he's changed his mind, and the ants then sheepishly start nudging the sugar cubes back into their container. At the time it seems like a silly throwaway gag, but given that this is the very exercise that Scott is trained to do later on, it's actually totally vital.
