One of the more outrageously unexpected moments in the movie comes when Hank and Hope are trapped inside Cross' facility, and Hank pulls out his tank key-chain, which has been seen several times throughout in the movie. He tells his daughter, "It's not a keychain", and after a beat to allow the audience to figure out what's about to happen, a full-sized tank comes bursting out the side of the building, to the astonishment of everyone in the surrounding area. The comic timing and general magnificence of the gag makes it one of the most hilarious scenes in the whole film.
