Ant-Man: 28 WTF Moments

11. Hydra Makes An Appearance

At the very start of the film, S.H.I.E.L.D. employee Mitchell Carson (Martin Donovan) can be seen during the 1989 scene where Hank resigns, not before slamming Mitchell's face into his desk and giving him a bloody nose, which is pretty much short-hand for "this guy's gonna be bad later". True to form, Mitchell shows up near the end of the movie as a member of the new branch of Hydra, who wants to purchase Cross' Yellowjacket technology for the organisation's own surely nefarious operations. Of course, Cross tells him and his men, "It won't run on diesel", and so he also attempts to sell them the fuel to run the tech, at a massive profit no doubt.
