During his final fight with Yellowjacket, Ant-Man flies inside his enemy's suit and destroys him, but Cross' subsequent evaporation causes Lang to shrink to sub-atomic size. At this point, he briefly enters the Quantum Realm, where he can hear the voice of his daughter calling out for him, but as he has the blue disc at hand, he isn't trapped there forever like Janet, and after placing the disc in his regulator, is able to return to normal size back in the regular world.
