Uriel and Eimin are referred to "Apocalypse's children" despite the fact they are the offspring of Apocalypse's Horsemen, Pestilence and Archangel. After studying multiple timelines, Kang learned that the twins would eventually interfere with his plans for world domination. To prevent this from happening, he kidnapped the infants and brought them to the future where he raised them as his own.

To ensure they would never question him, Kang had them locked up in a mutant concentration camp for years. Uriel and Eimin weren't a big fan of the whole torture thing and so, betrayed their step-father.

After one very, very confusing plot revolving around Death Seeds and Celestials, the Apocalypse Twins wiped out the entire universe as well as multiple other Earths. Knowing that Kang would go back in time to undo their actions, Uriel and Eimin formed a time-dam that prevented The Conqueror from accessing the past or future. After ten years of scheming, Kang figured out how to bypass the time-dam, reverse the destruction of his universe, and had the Twins killed.

Despite emerging victorious, Kang had to acknowledge his short-sightedness could've caused the annihilation of the entire multiverse.
