Ant-Man 3: 10 Ways Kang The Conqueror's Introduction Will Change The MCU Forever
1. The Importance Of The Quantum Realm
Ever since 2015's Ant-Man, fans have been wondering what the point of the Quantum Realm is (beyond looking pretty cool on an IMAX screen). That movie established that Janet Van Dyne was trapped there, while the sequel, Ant-Man and The Wasp brought her home without ever establishing how she survived or what those incredible new powers were.
Avengers: Endgame would later use the Quantum Realm to facilitate time-travel, of course, but by the point, it was beginning to feel like this strange new world was little more than a convenient plot device.
Well, with Kang's introduction, Marvel Studios can change that and establish that it is actually vastly more important than anyone - including Hank, Janet, Scott, and Hope - ever realised. It's not outside the realm of possibility that the original Wasp actually crossed paths with Kang there as he travelled through time, and it could be he conquered that realm as well as many others.
Whatever the case may be, Ant-Man 3 looks set to finally make the Quantum Realm matter!
