1. Ant-Man Is On Captain America's Team In Civil War
The post-credits scene doesn't just lay the narrative groundwork for Captain America: Civil War, but also reveals what side of the conflict Ant-Man will wind up on. In the comics, Hank Pym joins with Iron Man's pro-registration camp, but Scott Lang, who'll appear in the film version, is absent. This has led to much speculation to who Paul Rudd will spend most of his time acting against in Captain America 3 when he reprises the role next year, but Ant-Man actually provides some pretty big clues. It was already suggested in the film's final moments that Falcon and Cap were eyeing Ant-Man to join their team, and the sting extends that, showing that Scott will probably start his relationship with the New Avengers by helping out with the Winter Solider problem. This puts him in a prime position to side with Captain America (at least to begin with) when the conflict over the Superhero Registration Act boils over. Given the potentially integral part The Winter Soldier will play in the Cap'/Iron Man divide, this means Rudd's role in the 2016 movie may even be a little bit bigger than expected (and that's before we consider the fan theory he'll become Giant-Man at some point).
