Ant-Man: 8 Actors Who Could Play Young Hank Pym

1. Aaron Eckhart

Aesthetically speaking, Aaron Eckhart is likely the best choice for a young Henry Pym. If you pay particular attention to some of the earlier Hank Pym and Ant-Man comic book appearances, Eckhart has the Pym look nailed down. Floppy dirty blonde locks? Check. Strong, chiselled jaw? Check. The traditional handsome appearance? Check. Hell, Eckhart even shares the same dimple on his chin that various incarnations of Pym have been given over the years. One might initially presume that Eckhart's previous work with Warner Brothers as Harvey Dent in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight may hinder any chances the actor has of working with Disney and Marvel. If you think about it logically, though, the duality and instability of the Harvey Dent character is a perfect precursor for playing the unhinged genius of Hank Pym. Over the last year or so, there has been strong rumours that Marvel Studios is very interested in working with Eckhart at some point in the future. Could that working partnership possibly come to fruition with the role of the young Henry Pym in Edgar Wright's Ant-Man? He may just be the perfect choice.
