Ant-Man And The Wasp: 19 WTF Moments

4. Michelle Pfeiffer's Minuscule Screen Time

Michelle Pfeiffer's virtually non-existent presence in the movie's marketing made it pretty damn clear she wouldn't have a starring role in Ant-Man and the Wasp, but even so, it was pretty damn disappointing just how little she actually appears in this film.

Between the brief Janet flashback scenes, her reunion with Hank in the quantum realm, her return to the world as we know it and THAT mid-credits scene, she's in the movie for scarcely more than five minutes.

It's especially baffling as her screen time doesn't really capitalise at all on the potential soaring emotion of Hank and Hope being reunited with their long-lost family member. It all just feels a bit rushed and hollow, which is a damn shame given how the first Ant-Man set it up quite perfectly.

Hopefully she'll have a more significant role in Avengers 4, though considering the state she's in when the movie begins, you probably shouldn't count on it.
