Following on from the first Ant-Man including The Cure in its soundtrack, the sequel doubles down on the dreary English rock with several nods to the alt-rock icon Morrissey.

When Luis is first given the truth serum, he launches into one of his hysterically convoluted stories, even mentioning on a tangent that his grandmother owned a restaurant and placed a jukebox inside it which only played Morrissey songs.

Later, when Luis calls Scott, it's also revealed that Scott's personal ring-tone for Luis is the singer's banger "Everyday is Like Sunday". Considering that boredom is one of the song's central themes, it's pretty safe to say it cements Scott's mental state while dealing with two years of house arrest.
