14. Baba Yaga

One of the movie's best running gags is poor Kurt believing that Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen) is in fact Baba Yaga, a mythic, terrifying entity from Slavic folklore typically resembling a deformed old woman.

Though Baba Yaga exists in real-world folklore and wasn't merely created for the MCU, she has also been featured in Marvel comics in the past, having been first introduced in Captain Britain Vol 2 #11 back in 1985.

Somewhat amusingly, while Baba Yaga is an ambiguous figure who can help or hinder those she comes into contact with despite her terrifying appearance, the same can also be said of Ghost, whose motivations are far less straight-forward than they first seem.
