4. Hank Pym

Michael Douglas got a little more to do this time around as Hank Pym, cracking more one-liners and even getting to wear a vintage Pym suit when he entered the quantum realm.

Douglas is, of course, a genius spot of casting in this franchise, once again bringing a terrific mix of seriousness and humour, with his status as a genius scientist never taking away from his ability to rip Scott apart for being a dope (or for drooling over his daughter).

Considering how many fans expected Hank to die at the end of the movie, it was actually pretty sweet and refreshing that he got reunited with his wife at the end (even if they eventually got turned to dust courtesy of Thanos).
