Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania Review - 5 Ups & 5 Downs

3. Janet Gets More To Do

It was hugely disappointing how small Janet van Dyne's (Michelle Pfeiffer) role turned out to be in Ant-Man and the Wasp, so it's a pleasant surprise that Quantumania gives her so much more to do.

Janet isn't merely a passenger along for the ride but a vital piece of the story, by way of her past actions in the Quantum Realm and prior association with Kang.

Pfeiffer is clearly up for the task and gives a committed, entertaining performance, bringing dimension to a character who has up to this point felt desperately lacking in nuance.

More Michelle Pfeiffer is basically a net-positive for any movie, and that's certainly the case here.
