Antonio Banderas: 5 Awesome Performances & 5 That Sucked
1. Jeremiah Ecks - Ballistic: Ecks Vs Sever (2002)
Banderas' action movies have been very much a mixed bag since his "promotion" to the Hollywood big-time, and it's rather a shame that he wasn't more willing to say no to some projects. He undoubtedly should have done just that when Ballistic came around, or he wouldn't be burdened with the label of starring in one of the worst films ever made.
Seriously, this is not one of those claims where you tell people that a film is a silly cult gem that needs to be seen to be believed: this is a sub-Uwe Boll disaster that really ought to be struck out of history.
It is incredibly, frighteningly bad film, a startling achievement in garbage, that should have been cancelled as soon as any of the cast or crew realised how broken the director clearly was. The script is beyond belief, the character development is completely missing and logic is as alien as entertainment is.
