1. The Final Battle

Aquaman's insane finale sees Orm's army battling the Kingdom of the Brine, resulting in gigantic, lava-hurling crustacean creatures fighting massive sharks, before Arthur rides in on Karathen and helps decimate Orm's fleet with the help of his shiny new trident.

And because this is a cheeseball Hollywood blockbuster, of course there needs to be a mid-action slow-motion kiss between Arthur and Mera. If The Last Jedi could get away with it, why not Aquaman?

Inevitably, of course, it comes down to a one-on-one fight between Arthur and Orm above the water, which Arthur wins pretty effortlessly after shattering Orm's trident with his nifty new skills.

Surprisingly enough, Orm's life is spared and he's taken into custody, and in a moment of sure character growth, Arthur even tells his half-brother they should talk once he's ready.

It wasn't necessarily a superhero battle for the ages, but it nevertheless deserves a hefty amount of credit for being so damn weird, especially during that Lord of the Rings-esque battle between the Atlantean armies.
