Aquaman: 10 Things Fans Demand Most
9. Brightness
If there's one thing DC films have been repeatedly criticised for, it's their dingy visuals - perhaps because the tone tends to reflect what's on screen. Aquaman, however, has provided us with a series of bright posters and scenes that make us concerningly hopeful that this film may prove different.
Indeed, between bright, sun-lit shots, and colourful aquatic wildlife, the trailer does nothing but solidify this hope. It’s perhaps a blessing of a film that takes place mostly underwater – as good lighting for scenes is what makes the difference between a beautiful hidden world, and a murky pond with people in it.
Brighter colours won't make or break the film, sure, but a sign that the teams behind the films are working on criticisms accordingly would be nothing short of a godsend.
