Aquaman Final Trailer Reactions: 5 Ups & 5 Downs
1. It Probably Spoils Too Much
It's a classic complaint about movie trailers in general these days, and especially blockbuster trailers, but yes, this final one probably blows a little too much of the movie's wad.
Sadly market research does indeed suggest that spoilerific marketing is effective at getting audiences to see a movie, so it's looking quite probable that, combined with Warner Bros.' history for panicking and revealing too much, there probably aren't too many surprises left in store.
As delightfully bonkers as the film's epic sea battle looks, did we really need to see this much of it?

You've probably already seen the trailer for yourself by now, but if you somehow haven't, this might honestly be a good point to tap out and just save yourself for when the full movie is in cinemas.
The trailer has undeniable issues, then, but it also boasts compelling evidence that, in fact, Aquaman just might live up to and possibly even exceed the somewhat dubious hype...
