Seriously though, the Alpha zombies in Arm of the Dead got it rough. Despite her co-rule over the dominion of the dead, the Queen didn't stand a chance against Martin and his quest for cold, hard cash.

Much like other deaths on this list, the way the Queen was killed wasn't the most savage thing about her death. While yes, her head being cut off and later falling from a high-rise building splattering onto the concrete like a watermelon was disgusting, it's the implication of her death where the brutality lays.

As it turns out, the Queen was pregnant! Not only that, but lead Alpha Zeus was the father; the implication of this being that Alpha's cannot only reproduce, but love one another, is something we come to understand when Zeus cries for his beloved and his child.

The Queen's death cements the idea that maybe the zombies, at least the Alpha zombies, weren't the real monsters after all. Especially when you take into consideration characters like Martin and Cummings, but we'll get to them later.
