Arnold Schwarzenegger: 5 Awesome Performances & 5 That Sucked

4. Harry Tasker - True Lies (1994)

True Lies is without a doubt one of the funniest performances of The Governator€™s career. Revel at the scene in which Harry Tasker first realises his wife (played by Jamie-Lee Curtis) may be having an affair; at the look of sheer shocked insanity on his face €“ it€™s a moment that he really sells as an actor, proving that there is something within that he can offer to the camera in terms of performance. Again, Arnie is suited perfectly to a role like this. True Lies is enough of a spoof-comedy that he doesn€™t need to be the finest actor in the world to pull of the role, but it€™s serious enough in parts that he€™s able to get tough, and deliver some signature Arnie one-man-army moments. True Lies isn€™t going to win any awards for class; it€™s brash and crude and unashamedly so. And with that being said, Cameron picked the perfect leading man, who shares much of the same qualities as the movie itself.
