Arnold Schwarzenegger: Every Movie Ranked From Worst To Best

28. End Of Days (1999)

After vanquishing every foe that he had come up against during his big screen career, Arnold Schwarzenegger goes toe-to-toe with the Devil himself in Peter Hyams' $80m blockbuster that attempts to balance elements of the action, thriller and horror genres, yet ultimately fails at all three. The Austrian Oak's turn as suicidal, alcoholic ex-cop Jericho Cane does mark a couple of interesting firsts; it is both the first movie in which the actor cries on screen, and also the first where he plays a human character that doesn't survive. Trivia aside, End of Days is burdened with a weak script, some gaping plot holes and poor CGI that turn an interesting high-concept idea into a tedious studio dud.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
